Mon Aug 10 2020 - Coming September 25th, 2020, to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the US premiere screening, drive-in theatres across the country will show the queen of cult classic movies The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Movie theaters across America have been almost entirely empty since mid-march in accordance with coronavirus restrictions. Traditional audience participation filled screenings of Rocky Horror had to be put on pause. With fans looking for an outlet to celebrate their love of the 1975 audience participation spectacular, the drive-in provides a safe and effective venue. As more and more drive-ins pop up in recent times, Rocky Horror seems like a natural fit.

Over 30 venues have signed up to show the film on the weekend of September 26th (45 years to the day of the US premiere screening). If a venue near you is interested in taking part please have them reach out to their booking agent.
