Jonathan Adams, who played Dr. Everett Scott (a Rival Scientist), was primarily known as a stage actor. In 1973 he originated the role of the narrator (criminologist) in the original London play. In 1990, he recreated this role in the London West End revival of the show, and appears on the cast album. He also starred in the West End productions of Tomfoolery (a review of Tom Lehrer's music) and Metropolis, and was proud to be on both original cast albums. Jonathan was also an artist, songwriter and cabaret performer who continued to live and work in London until his passing in 2005.
