Little Nell (Laura Campbell), a native Australian, was discovered outside of a London theater as a busker (street performer). She created the role of Columbia (a Groupie) in the original play and the film. She had a brief career in England as a recording artist with her singles "Do The Swim" "Fever" and "See You Round Like a Record". Her film credits include JUBILEE, SHOCK TREATMENT, LIZSTOMANIA and PINK FLOYD'S THE WALL. In 1985 she moved to New York and with financial partners opened the extremely successful night club "Nell's." In 1994 she appeared in the off-Broadway show YOU SHOULD BE SO LUCKY by Charles Busch and received rave reviews.
