Michael White was the producer of both the Rocky Horror Show show's original run as well at the film version The Rocky Horror Picture Show. He also produced the films "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and "Oh! Calcutta!"

He was a mainstay of the London theatrical scene bringing to life such shows as Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and A Chorus Line. White's autobiography, Empty Seats, was published in 1985. He was the subject of a 2013 documentary film titled "The Last Impresario"
